June is a premium time to visit, with its temperate weather and smaller crowds. The hottest month is August, France’s holiday month, and those left in the city are treated to the unique Paris beach experience, tons of sand spread along the banks of the Seine for picnicking and basking in the sun.

Summer for Paris holidays is fairly hot and sunny, with average temperatures of 19 degrees Celsius, and average rainfall of 58mm. Paris bewitches in autumn, as days lengthen and leaves become tinged with colour. October and November are excellent months to visit, as the weather is still warm, nights are cool and crisp, and the crowds have thinned. Average temperature is 12 degrees Celsius and the median rainfall is 51mm.Even in winter, the coldest season in Paris, the city is magical, strung in bright Christmas lights and very occasionally frosted with snow. Prices for travel are also at their lowest. January and February are the coldest months, perfect for snuggling in a cozy café.
